Your first visit · What to expect

Relief first. Wellness for keeps.

No mystery, no pressure. Here's exactly what happens when you walk through the door — from the first hello to a plan that's actually yours.

The first three visits

Understand first. Adjust second.

01

The consultation & exam

A warm welcome, your questions answered, and a proper conversation with the doctor about your health story and your goals. Then a complete chiropractic examination — including a computerized scan that reads heat and muscle changes affecting your nervous system. X-rays only if they're genuinely needed.

02

The doctor's report — and your first adjustment

Your results, explained in plain English: what the scan found, what it means, and whether it's correctable. If you choose to continue, you receive your first adjustment the same visit. Bring your spouse or a support person — healing goes better when the people closest to you understand it too.

03

Your recommendation

How long healing should take, how often you'll need care, and the honest financial picture — laid out clearly before you commit to anything. Your body, your health, your call.

A typical visit after that

Efficient and personal: a quick update, your adjustment, and something worth knowing about your health on the way out. In and out without feeling processed.

Fast, focused, friendly

Want a head start? The practice offers its new-patient paperwork online — adult and pediatric — so you can fill it in at home before you arrive.

The Gonstead technique

The “gold standard,” in careful hands.

Developed from an engineering background, the Gonstead approach treats your spine as a connected structure: a problem in one area produces compensations in another. So the analysis covers the whole person — history, examination, precise instrumentation, and trained fingertips.

Adjustments are specific and comfortable: lying on your side for the lower spine, a kneeling position for the middle back, seated — without twisting or rotating your neck — for the top. Sometimes you'll hear a pop. Sometimes you won't. Either way, better function is the goal.

Two kinds of care

Relief care gets you back. Wellness care keeps you there.

Most people arrive with one goal: make it stop hurting. That's where care starts — uncovering the underlying cause, building the fastest sensible path to relief, and showing you how to take part in your own recovery.

What happens next is your choice. Many families stay for wellness care — the emerging model of checking and maintaining health instead of waiting for symptoms. Regardless of your goal: you're the boss. It's your body, your health and your future.
